The French have allowed illegal immigrants to enter their country without checks or assigning sufficient resources to intercept them. The EU’s open border and free movement policy means border controls at national boundaries have been removed aiding the transit of illegals through France to wash up at Calais.

The French government has abrogated its responsibility of providing security for its own people.

EU subverting UK Education, as UKIP reveals EU funded University Professors

Published Jul 27, 2015

PaulNutall-new1.jpgUKIP has warned today of the threat of the EU ‘subverting’ British education as Universities UK comes out against the UK leaving the European Union.

Deputy Leader Paul Nuttall, a former university lecturer, has also highlighted the role of Monnet Professors, academics selected and funded by the EU to promote EU integration. He argues that the payment of university teaching staff to promote EU ideals in European Universities amounts to the erosion of academic independence via a form of paid for propaganda.

To learn that one and a half thousand academics around the world are being paid by the EU to promote EU integration is deeply concerning and akin to the sort of deliberate indoctrination one would expect in Cold War Communism, not in the twenty first century western world.

Peer calls on Government to honour its commitment to keep President Obama and other foreign leaders out of EU debate

Idiot_vote_riggingTHE PRESS OFFICE OF The Lord Stoddart of Swindon (Independent Labour), 24th July 2015

Lord Stoddart of Swindon, the independent Labour Peer, has called on the Government to honour a commitment made by Baroness Anelay of St Johns, the Minister of State at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, in a reply (17th June) to a written question from him, in which he was promised that efforts would be made to keep foreign leaders out of the debate about Britain’s future in the EU, ahead of the referendum.

The Baroness said that ‘the decision in the referendum will be one for British voters to make’ and that ’The Government will make this clear as necessary in its discussions with foreign leaders and EU officials.’

EU Villains In The Greek Tragedy

Please note: “Get Britain Out” is an independent campaign, their views do not necessarily reflect those of UKIP.
By Chris Carter and Chris Muspratt, Get Britain Out

Dear Friends and Supporters,

In the last month, the EU’s harrowing treatment of Greece has reached fever pitch. Let’s not forget we nearly joined the Euro, securing an opt-out in the Maastricht Treaty of 1992, so we are lucky to be averting the disaster which has befallen Greece. Had we joined the Euro then, our economy would have buckled beneath the weight of the 2008 Recession, because we would be trapped inside the Euro’s exchange rate. By controlling the exchange rate of sterling, we have been able to keep our exports afloat. But the Greeks cannot devalue their own currency and remain competitive because they haven’t left the Euro – something they should have done five years ago!

Britain must not dance to Obama’s tune

“The fact is that inside the EU, the UK’s global standing is greatly diminished given that we are prohibited from negotiating our own trade deals. How can a country have a true global influence when it cannot agree to such deals on the world stage?

Peer: “Serious surrender of governmental powers to the European Union”

THE PRESS OFFICE OF The Lord Stoddart of Swindon (Independent Labour), 23rd July 2015

The Government has “tamely given away the right to decide the level of protection for UK depositors” against bank failures says independent Labour Peer

The independent Labour Peer, Lord Stoddart of Swindon, has exposed yet another serious surrender of governmental powers to the European Union, through a written question (20.07.15) which asked why the Government had accepted an EU directive that has tied the United Kingdom’s bank deposit protection scheme to the euro-sterling value, resulting in a £10,000 reduction in the level of protection for United Kingdom depositors from next year.

Taxpayers’ Alliance: HMRC Adopting Totalitarian Working Methods

Note: The Taxpayers’ Alliance is an independent campaigning organisation. Their views do not necessarily reflect those of UKIP.

As the country continues to celebrate the 800th anniversary of the signing of the Magna Carta, we have been scrutinising the new powers which the Government wants to hand to HMRC, which fly in the face of the rights enshrined back in 1215. The Direct Recovery of Debts proposal would give the taxman the ability to seize money he believes we owe him directly from our bank accounts, without giving property rights or due process a second thought. Of course those guilty of tax evasion should be properly pursued and brought to justice, but the current draft legislation is deeply concerning, especially when you bear in mind how many millions of tax bills are miscalculated by HMRC each year.
